Lights, Camera, Gender (from the syllabus: “The films we will examine are situated in relation to three historical periods in relation to American feminism: pre-Second Wave [post-WWII through the 1950s]; second-Wave era & backlash (1970s and 80s); and contemporary [1990s-present]). We’re reading texts from Feminism at the Movies and texts that my professor will be uploading for us....
CLASSES WERE GREAT!!!
Also, in my last class (Lights, Camera, Gender!:Femininity and Masculinity in Cinema) we watched Adam’s Rib. Loved it. Loved the discussion. Just, yay. I’ll post a list of the movies we’re watching and some of the readings (maybe) later. If I remember.

This girl who went to my HS keeps posting statuses...
And they are being posted from a mobile device. Once it was something like “If only this car in front of me would speed up!!”. None of these statuses seem all that important to warrant logging on to Facebook/Facebook app while driving. Hell, I couldn’t see what status would be important enough to do that.

Sometimes the things that are the worst for you...
